Clinical activities/description of role, and interests/research

As an expert nurse in Young People's cancer care I provide support, advice and information from diagnosis and throughout the young person's cancer journey. I work as part of a committed multi disciplinary team with the shared aim of providing individualised support and age appropriate care. I facilitate a Parent's Group, Patient's Group and a staff support group. In partnership with my colleagues I also run the Family Support Network which aims to provide support and the opportunity to talk away from the hospital setting about their cancer experiences.
