Clinical activities and interests/research

I specialise in the treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcomas. In addition I am an expert in the care of teenagers and young adults with cancer, managing the largest teenage cancer service in Europe. I am a member of the National Cancer Research Institute Sarcoma Research Group and chair the Bone Sarcoma Subgroup. I am responsible for an extensive clinical research programme for sarcomas at UCH. I am chief investigator of the international randomised study for osteosarcoma, EURAMOS 1, currently running in Europe and the United States
