clinical activities/description of role

A market research executive, a mother, a primary school teacher and now the Sarcoma Unit Co-ordinator. My past experiences have furnished me with excellent organisational skills. I track patients from referral to diagnosis and beyond. I am a friendly voice on the end of the phone guiding both patients and referrers through our system, advising them of what to expect from the Sarcoma Unit. I work tirelessly for the patients who pass through my hands and believe I am part of a wider team that provides an excellent service. I ensure that the decisions made about patients become actions. I have not lost a patient yet !
