Specialist training

My training in bone and soft tissue tumour surgery was at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston and in Sydney, Australia. I was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and part of the London Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcoma unit at University College London Hospitals in 1995.

Clinical activities and interests/research

As well as having an interest in biological and prosthetic limb reconstruction I have also developed an interest in less invasive approaches to tumour management, in particular using photodynamic therapy, radiofrequency and interstitial laser photocoagulation. I am a member of the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society and the International Society of Limb Salvage.
