palliative care and symptom control

A major part of the service provided to sarcoma patients is supportive care, symptom control, and palliative care. At UCH we are very well-supported by an excellent palliative care team of four consultants, Dr Caroline Stirling, Dr Chi-Chi Cheung, Dr Chris Farnham, and Dr Jane Neerkin, who work with a team of clinical nurse specialists, providing dedicated care to all patients whether receiving curative or palliative treatment.
